Dr. David Tanen grew up in West Hempstead, NY, and attended college at Binghamton University where he got his BA in political science and MA in biological science. From there he spent one year teaching college students organic chemistry and general chemistry in underprivileged communities in NYC. Dr. Tanen graduated from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine obtaining his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. During his time there, he performed research on a cure for ectodermal dysplasia and honed his skills in all facets of digital dentistry. He then continued his clinical education by completing a one year residency at Bellevue Hospital NYC H+H where he gained extensive experience in dental emergencies, non surgical and surgical extractions, dental implantology and socket preservation techniques.
Dr. Tanen currently lives in Long Beach, NY, with his beautiful wife and 2 dogs Stella and Gus. In his spare time, Dr. Tanen likes to go snowboarding in the winter and hiking in the summer.
